Do’s

  • Follow the rules and guidelines of the place you are visiting. Be alert at all times.
  • Seek the assistance of forest guards/VSS, EDC guides while going into the forests.
  • While enjoying adventurous activities, follow the safety guidelines.
  • Use flashless camera in wildlife parks. Flashes can make animals angry.
    Always carry drinking water, snacks, and other refreshments.
  • Carry a first aid kit with medicines for common ailments
  • Carry a notepad, flashlight, roadmaps, bus/train/airline timetables for convenience destinations before making the trip.

    Don’ts
  • Don’t litter. Dispose of the waste properly.
  • Don’t smoke. Ecotourism places are mostly no-smoking zones.
  • Don’t wear bright colours or strong perfumes. It might infuriate animals in the park.
  • Don’t try to explore unfamiliar things at the destinations
  • Don’t travel alone in areas such as Elephant Reserves
  • Don’t disturb or tease animals.
